Event Description
2nd Annual Animal Rescue Rally Kicked Off
October 15
Volunteer animal rescue groups in the Indianapolis area are invited to enter the 2011-2012 Rescue Rally and compete for much-needed funds while rescuing homeless animals from Indianapolis Animal Care and Control. The Rally supports and celebrates the efforts of small volunteer groups that get animals into foster care and find them permanent homes. Such groups often operate on a shoestring budget.
The competition runs from October 15, 2011 to January 15, 2012. Any all-volunteer rescue group within a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis that is an
approved IACC rescue partner may enter at the Rally’s website, http://rescuerally.org/ . Monetary and product prizes will be awarded for the most animals rescued from IACC in eight categories.
