Event Description

Join GPA Indianpolis at our annual reunion picnic featuring a silent auction, more than 25 vendors, straw draw, games, raffles, and King / Queen contest. Featured speaker is Dr. Guillermo Couto, of Ohio State University, internationally known for his work with Greyhounds. You do not have to be an GPA adopter to attend, but we do ask that four-legged guests are restricted to Greyhounds only, as this is their day to celebrate finding their forever home.
GPA Indianapolis is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Greyhound rescue group, staffed completely by dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to rescue Greyhounds who no longer qualify to race, and place them in loving homes in the Indianapolis area. Our reunion picnic is our largest fundraiser, and allows us to fulfill our mission. GPA is the largest single-breed rescue organization in the United States, and nationally, has rescued over 80,000 racing Greyhounds..
