Event Description
Misty Eyes Animal Shelter & Learning Center presents "Winterfest", an evening of pet-related, family friendly fun.
Test your skills in our scavenger maze, play games, stop by our craft station, have your photo take with Spot, our 6 1/2-foot-dog, enter our photo and essay contest, and join us for fun and interactive presentations.
Careers with Animals: Local pet-related business owners will talk about what they do each day, followed by a question and answer session.
Presentation: Dr. Matt Cantrell presents an informative look at the life of a Misty Eyes animal. Learn what happens from intake to adoption.
The Misty Eyes Winterfest Essay Contest is open to all children in grades 1-12. Winners will be announced at the event and will have their entries displayed in the new Misty Eyes Adoption Center. More details can be found online at MistyEyes.org.
