Grab your leashes, oil your strollers and get your dancin’ shoes on! Woofstock is a fun-filled event for the whole family – including Fido! Presented by VCA Animal Hospitals, Woofstock 2010 takes place at Verizon Wireless Music Center (12880 E. 146th St in Noblesville) on June 12, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (rain date: June 13). All proceeds from Woofstock benefit the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
Now in its third year, Woofstock includes a human/K-9 walk; live music by Lemon Wheel, the Handicapper Generals, and KJ & the Jester Kings; pet and people contests (including the Pet Supplies Plus Pet Star Contest and the Doggie Dance Off), local celebrities and their pets, pet vendors and service organizations, adoptable pets, microchipping, and much more! Chris Denari, the voice of the Indiana Pacers, and his dog, Bailey, will be emceeing the event.
Woofstock is an annual fundraiser developed to bring in the funds needed to care for the nearly 4,000 pets that are surrendered or come in as strays to the Humane Society for Hamilton County. The public is invited to join the fundraising efforts at www.firstgiving.com/hamiltonhumane. Prize packages will be awarded to the top team and individual fundraiser.
Woofstock tickets will be available at Verizon Wireless Music Center the day of the event. Ticket price is $10, children ages 5 and under are free.

Just one week later and there is nothing going on! We probably won't get to come again this year because of our other commitments.
Oh no! It’s very possible the poor guy has a tummyache. Maybe his prepared kibble is giving him some acid reflux? But, it could also be a hiatal hernia, which is a weakness of the diaphragm that allows a bubble from the stomach to come up into the chest cavity.
