The organization encourages children to read and improve verbal communication with an attentive, non-critical, furry audience, and the pets improve their socialization skills, basic manners, and capacity to trust and love to improve their chances of being adopted.

Join us at Lucky Dog Retreat (near 71st and Binford) on March 24, 2012 from 11 AM- 2 PM and have pictures taken of your dog(s) with the Easter Bunny!!
$10 package includes a 4X6 picture and 3 digital pictures.
Funds to benefit Woofs and Books, a non-profit organization, that helps animals and children through reading.

My dog licks the furniture constantly. What is this about?
Oh no! It’s very possible the poor guy has a tummyache. Maybe his prepared kibble is giving him some acid reflux? But, it could also be a hiatal hernia, which is a weakness of the diaphragm that allows a bubble from the stomach to come up into the chest cavity.
