Mya

This Mya. She was a shelter cat. I walked by her at Petsmart and she turned to look at me. I fell in love with her eyes. She walked right in our house and walked right up to our 85 pound dog and rubbed all over her. Wasn't afraid at all.

Wow!! 24 years old! I had a siamese that lived to be 21 but that is the oldest any of our animals have lived. Sometimes I wonder if it is the poison from the flea meds. They are strictly inside animals and all have been spayed. Probably just like us. When it's our time it is our time. I'm sorry about your kitty Patty. It is a terrible thing. We just lost one a month ago. She had a long good life. That is what helps us go on.

I had a kitty looked just like her, Tuffy, he just passed 2 days before this past Easter. He was 24....

Oh no! It’s very possible the poor guy has a tummyache. Maybe his prepared kibble is giving him some acid reflux? But, it could also be a hiatal hernia, which is a weakness of the diaphragm that allows a bubble from the stomach to come up into the chest cavity.
