Well, I admire your talent...very impressive..I always hAve loved black cats. My 24 year old Tuffy, just past in May, was a long haired black beauty..and I still have 2 black cats..a Humane rescue and a feral with one eye..all beautiful, but hard to capture in a pic.
Congrats on such a gorgeous shot, I can't quit looking at it!

Thanks, Patty! I agree, they can be difficult to photograph. I am a documentary style pet photographer so I've had lots of pratice. It gets easier once you learn some tricks. :)

My dog licks the furniture constantly. What is this about?
Oh no! It’s very possible the poor guy has a tummyache. Maybe his prepared kibble is giving him some acid reflux? But, it could also be a hiatal hernia, which is a weakness of the diaphragm that allows a bubble from the stomach to come up into the chest cavity.
Humans with this have GERD – gastroesophageal reflux disease -- and are often given antacids, which have been linked to…
