- How have your pet(s) changed your life for the better?
- When I first got Sable, 8 years ago..I had no experience with Pitbulls. All I knew was what the media had potrayed and that was that Pitbulls are all vicious. I was a little scared when my boyfriend brought her through the door. It didnt take long for me to realize that she didnt have a vicious bone in her body. She is one of the most loving, and patient creatures I have ever encountered. She is what led me to join a an organization called Indy Pit Crew which advocates for pitbulls, provides community outreach as well as offers low cost vaccination and spay and neuter assistance. I now get to help educate others about this misunderstood breed and change others perceptions with her by my side!
- What's the strangest/cutest habit your pet(s) have?
- My youngest Bulldog, Bubba LOVES to sit upright in chairs. If he had to chose a dining room table chair or a comfy bed, he would jump up in the chair! lol

My dog licks the furniture constantly. What is this about?
Oh no! It’s very possible the poor guy has a tummyache. Maybe his prepared kibble is giving him some acid reflux? But, it could also be a hiatal hernia, which is a weakness of the diaphragm that allows a bubble from the stomach to come up into the chest cavity.
