Each year, Pet Carnival attracts over 1,200 furry friends and their companions, and brings more than 40 pet vendors, shelters and rescues together to educate, entertain and enjoy all aspects of the animal world. When Mater won the Mighty Dog Nation video contest, they gave us over $1,000 worth of coupons for Mighty Dog dog food. Since we only buy Taste of the Wild and Evangers (from the Broad Ripple store), I'm hoping that you can help me find a place where we can donate the coupons or the food itself. I know you are active in the dog community and on several boards, so I hope you have some ideas. Most of the places I phoned only want dry food and want to feed the same food. It might not be what you and I would feed our dogs, but it should go to help somewhere. Also, since I got a 1099 for it, I'd love to be able to get a receipt for the donation as well. Any ideas?
