Help homeless pets on June 11

Just one day for homeless pets and that day is Monday, June 11. The plan is to stop shelter killing for just one day and then to keep going until we achieve a No Kill Nation. I mean, wouldn't you rather have your tax dollars being spent to help homeless animals find homes rather than killing them? Just one day is all it takes...... http://www.examiner.com/article/just-one-day-to-save-homeless-animals

Walking for canine cancer this Saturday

This is Cocoa Puff, she is my dog. Unfortunately she was used for breeding over and over until she was too old to be of use to her owner, then she was dumped on Craigslist as "free to a good home". The irony of that always gets me. These people don't want the animal any more and haven't provided a good home but…

Serious budget cuts at Indianapolis Animal Care and Control

There will be a budget meeting held on September 14 at 5:30 PM downtown to discuss the city's budget. They are proposing almost $200,000 in cuts from IACC. This would cut supplies including medical care for the animals. With an decrease in budget and supplies, an increase in killing animals would certainly happen. Even the most basic vet care might not be available due to budget constraints. Click… Continue

Sometimes its as easy as go to a grain-free food. Sometimes, you have to do an elimination diet and…
