We are shouting out aloud-crazy-pleased with our next show for you. And old ad campaign used to boast, 'there's something for everyone'...but in this case, it's true. really! Hey, I don't lie... Give a gander to this lineup for PPTV, Sept 12th...on a TV screen near you !!!
It's called Therapets. A non-profit Fishsrs based group headed by Darlene Gosnell. This former teacher suffered a horrific car accident 10 years ago...she knew her dogs helped her heal. Why couldn't dogs help other people get well faster...or give comfort to those in pain? Armed with only her instincts and 'dogged' determination...in 2004 she started Therapets. Now Darlene's mission is so successful, she's on call 24/7 at St Vincent Hospital. She trains her little Westies and Cairn terriers to comfort the sick ( she even visits hospice patients and tramua cases). We'll tag along on her route ...specifically with children this day. We'll visit a little girl who has CP and had her legs operated on...she pets and talks to one of the white Westies put on her bed. A small boy who had a heart operation won't talk to anyone but reaches out to rub the little fuzzy dog on his small cart. And hear from the medical staff who endorse this outreach program, and find comfort themselves in the TheraPet visits.
Amazing dogs, and an amazing story...kleenex please...

her legs when her motorcycle and a semi tangled a few years ago. Her dogs have been her salvation, giving her love but .. she can't train bloodhounds anymore, can't do the job she loved..she is looking for an ATV donation to help her work with search dogs again...Maybe you know of someone who can help her, after viewing her story?

and meet a special kitty who's had multiple eye surgeries. Now her future is
'looking' good...could she be the new top cat in your home????

It's wonderous to see this man at work...each show he will tackle a new dog issue...in order to make them better and/or more adoptable pets. Fernando makes all of us 'snap to it' !!

You could win!!!! if you can answer the question o' the day...at the end of the show...correctly....soooooooo you have to watch the whole show, boys and girls !
