Iron Underdawgs had a really good time at Barktoberfest this weekend, where we met lots of really cool people and fellow rescuers! We had 3 very special dogs with us that are still in need of fosters or forever homes!! Please take a look!!
This is Butters......

Butters is some kind of sheltie mix crossed with a yellow lab mix. He's around 2 years old, and about 30lbs, so he looks like a small yellow lab. He's housebroken, crate-trained, and LOVES to just snuggle. He's extremely laid back and quiet. A very low-maintenance dog. If you're looking for a lab but aren't into the first four years of constant jumping and hyperactive behavior, Butters is the dog for you!! Please contact me -- dana@ironunderdawgs.com -- if you are at all interested in adopting or fostering Butters!!
This is Aphrodite.....

Aprhodite is around 2 years old and she is an American Bulldog mix. She's housebroken and crate-trained, and she LOOOOOVES to be in somebody's lap! She's a very good girl who will sit on command, and picks up new tricks very quickly. Her favorite trick is to try to walk backwards to pull her head out of her collar! We've found that she does this when you are tugging on her, but when you put slack in her leash and simply ask her to come with you, she'll follow you anywhere! Aphrodite is also a very calm, laid-back dog. If you are interested in fostering or adopting her, please contact me -- dana@ironunderdawgs.com
This is Dash....

Dash is a Humane Society for Hamilton County dog who was hit by a car and suffered some spinal injuries. His current foster saw him thru the tough times which included lots of surgery and learning to get around again! Dash has a fancy set of wheels that allow him to run and play with other dogs, and he doesn't seem to notice there's any problem at all with his back legs! He has an AMAZINGLY playful, positive attitude!! He's a great example to anyone who's had to overcome adversity. He's housebroken and is generally a very low-maintenance dog! His current foster, Diana, has to move to an apartment where she will be unable to continue fostering. She REALLY wants Dash to find the best possible forever home or new foster... her deadline is October 16th! If you have a place in your heart for a special little guy who will never cease to amaze you, please email Diana about fostering or adopting Dash thru the Humane Society for Hamilton County!! -- Di19524@comcast.net
And as always... check out the Iron Underdawgs website at www.ironunderdawgs.com! We are working on restructuring our rescue efforts! Stay tuned to see what we are up to next! --Dana
