PAUL HOLDS A PUPPY AND PATTY GETS A LITTLE 'BEAR' !
What a fabulous show we have for you today! Yes, TODAY!
Come with us to Hinkle Fieldhouse, to meet the newest member of the Butler Basketball team..he's not a guard, or a center, but he is a little 'forward', as in 'friendly'! It's Blue III, the next in line to inherit the Mascot title for the popular team.
Paul Poteet cradles the doggie during his interview with owner Michael Kaltenmark. In fact, the pup is so content snuggling in Paul's arms, he falls asleep during the interview! ( No reflection on Paul's interview talents, just that a doggie needs his nap time!)
With English Bulldogs now the #6 most popular breed in America, it's also necessary to issue a cautionary 'tail' about the breed. They have health problems, maintenance issues and all responsible English Bulldog owners will tell you, they are gonna have Vet bills...just be aware. We'll revisit the Indiana Bulldog Rescue group to find out more firsthand.
And I had some 'bear' time this past week. Come with me to the Boat Sport and Travel show as we visit with Brody the
Bear! A 13 hundred pound Kodiak who was captive born and hand raised, trained to be a TV and Movie star.
So a bear can be trainer, but can he ever be tamed? Some surprising answers from the owner/handler Jeff Watson who's' had bears all his life. as bonus, I get to hold the newest bear in Jeff's charge, a 4 week old 10 pound bear named Bronson...so cute. And even though I know the little cub will never remember me, I will never forget him...'It's a Bear Fact'!
