It is not uncommon to find ourselves in a situation where we feel we have been scammed even when logically we can’t find how, in the 70’s and 80’s all those who are my age or older, became victims of the biggest scam ever…  computers were starting to become part of our everyday life and the promises of making our life easier, kept us going in that direction and hoping one day soon to be able to just live an easy life.

Now, several years later, we not only find that our lives are far from easier, but also we all find that the time seems just to fly by us, that it took just a couple of blinks for the last couple of years to pass by, and what happens here is that computers didn’t make our lives easier, but made us more efficient and now, we can do in hours what used to take us days or even months and very few are lucky enough to relax, and see how the day goes by, to enjoy the sun for a little or just to feel the weather and instead are trying to be more and more “productive”

There is no wonder why the number one killer is not the diabetes, heart attacks or car accidents, the number one killer of our time is stress, so, did you know that people that have pets have lower stress levels than those who haven’t? or  that regular exercise also reduce the level of stress? or even more, that regular exercise for your dog will help fixing most of their behavior issues, those that actually stress you so much?

So, here you have, three good reasons to have a dog and walk them in regular basis…

You are so right.  We adopted 2 beagles because beagles love to walk, hike and do just about anything....well except maybe swim and I don't like to swim either.  Last March my blood pressure went sky high due to stress.  I was so surprised because I exercise on a daily basis.  High blood pressure runs in my family too.  Anywho...my beagles keep me going.  If I'm not walking with the girls, I'm chasing them down in the backyard.  Gotta love a beagle.  Plus...my beagles are not over weight.  What is good for me is also good for them.  Remember...a good dog is a tired dog.....a healthy human is a stress free human.

Indiana’s Weather For Wednesday

seven-day-indy-scaled
Take a deep breath. We are finished with the 80′s and 90′s for the rest of the week and at least half the weekend. Expect breezy, dry west to northwest winds today and a good dose of sunshine. The mix tomorrow will be mostly clouds, and we’ve got a decent shot at wonderfully wet, widespread [...]
