As the Pet Pals TV crew gets ready to fly to NYC and Westminster Dog Show, ( hope the blizzard is done by the time we leave) we are sharing with you with some great stories this weekend.
In preparation for the show, I have an interview with Norma Smith, a dog handler/trainer/lover who has more that 40 years in the business, and yes, she has shown at Westminster. This 'dog-life-coach' has an insiders perspective as to the Westminster workings..and she's a fascinating person!
We'll also introduce you to Hope! Hope is the Clydesdale foal, who was just 7 days old, when they filmed her for the Budweiser commercial that aired during the Superbowl. What huge and fabulous creatures the Clydesdale horses are...take your breath away. (The photo is not of Hope. But it was taken at their home. SD)
Dr Cathy is front and center with a topic all pet lovers need to be better informed about...buying the right pet food and treats. She tells us what to look for and what to avoid when shopping. Read the ingredients: if you can't pronounce the ingredient or don't know what it is, don't buy it!
Really great big show...just for you.
We'll be checking in regularly from Westminster, so see you in Best of Show!
Patty and Louie
( Louie is staying home with his kitties and a couple of house sitters...plus a gal who is going to sleep with him...he's looking forward to me leaving, I think!!)

Sometimes its as easy as go to a grain-free food. Sometimes, you have to do an elimination diet and…
