it´s only fitting that we honor a true hero. Kaiser is his name, and he´s a dog. A Search and Rescue dog, who traveled from Indiana to Ground Zero, looking for the lost and injured and those who lost their lives.
Kaiser is going on 13 now. This German Shepherd dog is the ONLY canine left from Indiana who worked the Twin Towers and is still alive.
And what a wonderful ´pet´he is too. Owner-handler Tony Zintsmaster is so proud of his partner...and Kaiser is so happy to see visitors. He loves to be petted and hugged and rewarded with a treat or two!
Kaiser will also enjoy all the attention he´ll receive as Grand Marshall at the upcoming Dog Day Afternoon celebration in Carmel, September 11th, sponsored by the Humane Society for Hamilton County. We are also honored that he will be hangin´out with the Pet Pals Peeps at our booth as well...so come by for a scratch behind the ear...for Kaiser and maybe the booth crew, too!

Our next show also highlights the crisis of lack of Heartworm medication, all across the country. We are informed that the drug is no longer available, making prevention even more crucial in this insidious disease that can kill your pet!

Plus Sadie Maxine is in da house! And she´s talking and singing and whistling and dancing..and she´s a bird! A Grey Parrot, this bird is one of the smartest in the Animal Kingdom, with the intelligence of a 5 year old. Do you want your pet to talk back to you? Better see this story first!

We hope you join us as we connect with cute critters and praise pet owners who love and care for their animals...it´s a mutual attraction, animal attraction you might say!

My dog licks the furniture constantly. What is this about?

Humans with this have GERD – gastroesophageal reflux disease -- and are often given antacids, which have been linked to…

Indiana’s Weather For Wednesday

seven-day-indy-scaled
Take a deep breath. We are finished with the 80′s and 90′s for the rest of the week and at least half the weekend. Expect breezy, dry west to northwest winds today and a good dose of sunshine. The mix tomorrow will be mostly clouds, and we’ve got a decent shot at wonderfully wet, widespread [...]
